  DISMAL SERVICE. I went to the store today to buy my daughter an Atlas which was a school requirement. I approached the teller on the left who was free and asked her politely if I could her a question. To my amazement , she answered with a blunt "No" !! So I stepped back and waited to speak to the other teller. Seeing that the line was quite long, I again approached the teller that was free and again asked if I could ask her a question. This time she answered yes. I asked if she could tell me where to find the Atlas in question. She answered by telling me the store was self service and if I wanted to find out I had to use the in house system !! I explained this was my first time and asked if she could advise me of the location of the Atlas. She answered that that particular Atlas was not in stock. I advised that I had rang that morning and was told the store had the Atlas in stock. She dismissed this by telling me that " they just say that on the phone". Feeling quite frustrated, i moved to the other lane and waited to speak to the other lady on the counter. She was quite helpful and helped me locate the Atlas , ( mind you the store had over 30 copies ) !!!!!

  People in customer service roles, need to realise that they are responsible for first impressions and this particular girl certainly did not do her company any favours..

  In my frustration and disappointment, I did not get the young ladys details, but she had glasses on and her hair in a bun.

  Absolute breeze! The staff were helpful and friendly, it was easy to find items and order books that were out of stock. My only problem was specific SFX books being out of stock - surely the school can say how many students will be after them???

  The worst service ever! The young lady in Berwick i ask her if she could help me and pointed out the code and told me look in Isle then i had trouble looking I ask for second time same respond. Not impress at all i been buying books to this company for past 5years! Rude staff need trainning.

  Having read the previous reviews i was expecting to have a horrible experience, but i didn't. It was easy and friendly. Just wish more people would review when they were happy with service :) Thanks Campion.
