  In my opinion a disappointing and lacklustre politician, who is better suited to the lower levels of government or in opposition. Whilst the Liberals were in power I don't believe he achieved anything of substance and now that he has been relegated to opposition he offers even less.

  Brad Battin, months and months of constant information about the CFA / EBA and yet, once the election was finished, virtually nothing! This speaks volumes about your true motivation. Also the fact that you a) didn't bother to go to the Fiskville Enquiry and then quit b) voted down the CFA presumptive legistation is telling! Not to mention your lackadaisical attitude towards the paramedics during their pay dispute! (Remember that? or have you forgotten) Brad, you, as an ex police officer (albeit a short term one) should have an affinity with other emergency workers BUT you treat them with absolute contempt! Just because Mr Turnbull says he will do something about the CFA / EBA, doesnt mean it will happen! Why aren't you still rallying the troops? Why aren't you still fighting? Because Brad, you dont really care and you probably wish, now, that it would all just go away!!! The truth is, this is all about Brad saving Brad's job!!! I am not connected with the CFA, in any way, but I 100% respect all of them, volunteers and paid. You, Bradley, have disrespected all of them and while l'm sure there are plenty of lickspittles around you, that tell you what you want / need to hear, the reality is that you've made your bed and will have to now lie in it!

  I am aware that Brad Battin was initially involved in the Fiskville Inquiry, which is one of the most important government inquiries in recent history (look it up if you are unsure what it is about) Unfortunately Mr Battin failed to turn up to the first two public hearings and subsequently quit. Completely disgraceful!

  I notice this is the first review about Brad Battin, last time l reviewed a politician within days a glowing review about what an "awesome guy" he was, also appeared. Will be interesting to see if this happens here as well.

  Overall, like many real people, l have serious concerns about how this country has been governed by both major political parties and it is clear their allegiance lays with corporations / lobby groups / other countries and the elites, rather than with the people.
